
Welcome! I am a Professor of Theatre at the College of Charleston, in Charleston, South Carolina, USA, where I teach Theatre History and Dramaturgy courses, among others. I publish in the areas of vaudeville, popular performance, and pedagogy. I am a director and a dramaturg, working both within my academic department and in Charleston-area theatres.

Research Interests
I write about American vaudeville and Irish music hall. Current projects include work on international tourist theatre and an article on constrained maximization in boxing on the vaudeville stage.
